Designed by Heidi Alonzo, the new mosaics on the Capitola Wharf were fabricated by the community in an empty store front in the the Capitola Mall. Dozens of people came to the mall every week for 3 months, working side by side, learning the process and creating a whole new community of mosaic artists and art lovers.
